Carotin Creme is especially suitable as a moisture retaining skin-care for a normal to dry skin. Dryness of skin occurs because of the deficiency of barrier lipids and the lack of moisturising factors, which are physiologically combined.
Carotin Creme contains the Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF), sorbitol, natrium lactate, wheat germ extract, carotene as well as biologically active fatty acid glycerides. These are used against dryness and roughness, they spread well and are easily absorbed by the skin.
The Natural Moisturising Factor supports the skin's own ability to retain moisture. Wheat germ extract makes the skin smooth, elastic and resistant to external influences. It increases tonus and turgor, and together with carotene (the pro-vitamin A) it acts epithelizing. Natrium lactate, and essential fatty acids support the buildup of the barrier through absorption and metabolisation in the skin.
Application: Carotin Creme is the classic product, favoured and well-proven, for treatment of the skin in the evening - during winter months, however, also for the day. Especially recommended for inhabiting air-conditioned rooms or those with central heating, which are too dry for the skin.
